Temperatures soared and the humidity kept rising but that did not bring down the people who attended the Stutsman County Fair. July 10-13 was full of 4-H events along with fair food, rides and games and like many county fairs the weather did not put a damper on this once a year event filled weekend.
Wednesday was 4-H filled with all the members bringing in their livestock and having their projects put into the exhibit building after judging. We attended the fair on Thursday during the 4-H horse show as well as Friday for the beef show. Members kept going with a great attitude as the humidity continued to rise which would make anyone a little on edge. However, the fun atmosphere of the fair along with plenty of water kept those kids going to do their best throughout the week.
Being to many county fairs through the years it is always a good time one is able to see how each county is different and similar on how the events play out.
